Welcome to our new series, ‘Darkblock Introduces,’ where we highlight creators using Darkblock! Our mission at Darkblock is to enable creators to harness the power of web3. We want to build a new creator economy free from platform control. This series allows us to not only highlight and share the talented work of our community, but gain a better understanding of what tools we need to benefit all of us!
Jeremy Sahlman had already been involved in creating several NFT projects before he co-founded Darkblock in early 2021. His creative design firm Black Math had helped develop several NFT projects, including Bitcoin Origins and Tezos Origins, handling the art and some strategy.
Last week, we sat down with Exchange Art Founder Adam Karren to discuss how they grew to become the number one fine art marketplace on Solana, how they’ve survived the bear market, what new features they have in the pipeline, and how he thinks about enabling NFT creators to add unlockable content to their NFTs. Last week we held our office hours in the Metaverse, complete with more than 20 attendees, a giant fish tank, and goodie bags! The Dubai spatial room where our workshop took place was created by @polycount.io for @next30years, and is currently owned by @j_hanL.
